Take idChess to the tournament and broadcast your games
In chess, like any other sport, you can watch games in real time. It is useful for fans and coaches. Sometimes tournaments do not involve live-streaming—luckily, idChess helps with it. With idChess, you can broadcast individual games even if the organizer of the tournament does not turn on the stream.
What you need to broadcast your game
You can take idChess with you to the tournament. Organizers usually allow setting up a tripod and opening the idChess app to record the game. Do not forget that the phone with the app is always in flight mode, so it cannot call and violate the rules.
• A tripod to fix the smartphone over the chessboard;
• Installed idChess app;
• Active app subscription.

Before starting the broadcast
Prepare your smartphone for broadcast: make sure it is charged and connected to the Internet. Turn on the flight mode—this way the phone will not interrupt the recording with calls or notifications from other apps. Allow camera access in the pop-up window.
Attach the tripod to the side of the chessboard. Insert the smartphone into the tripod with the screen facing up. Adjust the height of the tripod and the position of the smartphone above the board. The board should fit completely in the camera. When the position is correct, the screen will be highlighted in green.
How to start the broadcast
Open the idChess and select Record in the lower menu.
In the Single game tab, tap Game broadcast . Fill in the names of the players.
Optionally, you can record the game with VAR. The idChess app will digitize and record all moves in the game so you can rewatch them later. Just like a replay in football or hockey! This feature is useful if there is a controversial situation during the game.
Tap Create broadcast. Share the link and get to the game.
After the game, you will be able to save the record on your smartphone—to send it to the coach and analyze.
