The 10th Dhamso International Chess Festival (DICF) was held in Sri Lanka from 26 to 30 May. More than 650 participants from India, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka played in the chess festival. idChess was the technical partner of the event.
For the first time in Sri Lanka, the games of the tournament were broadcast using idChess. Fans could watch the broadcasts at live.idchess.com

Among men, both in classical and blitz, the Indian chess player Mohan Kushagra took first place. Sri Lankan chess players became the winners of the championships among women. R M Dulinma Hemalni Rathnayake won the championship in classical, and T H D Niklesha Tharushi became the blitz champion.
The idChess platform will be used at other Sri Lankan chess events within a developing partnership with the Chess Federation.
