Broadcast of games by idChess at the International Chess Festival "Issyk-Kul Open 2023" in Kyrgyzstan

From July 11 to July 21, 2023, the International Chess Festival "Issyk-Kul Open 2023" was held in Korumdu (Kyrgyzstan). The games were broadcast on the live.idchess.com platform. Chess video assistant VAR idChess assisted the arbiters in judging.

More than 200 chess players from Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chile, Germany, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Mongolia, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan took part in the competition. The festival included three rating categories. Tournament A brought together the strongest line-up: 7 grandmasters, 12 international masters and 14 FIDE masters. There were also junior competitions.

Chess players from Kyrgyzstan took the podium in the Open B (among men) and C tournaments among women.

In tournament C among men, players from Uzbekistan were the strongest.

In tournament B among women, the best performance was demonstrated by a chess player from Kyrgyzstan, the 2nd place took a participant from Uzbekistan, 3rd place - a Mongolian.
